Correlating the different sizes of the cubes to the total surface area and determining how the ratio of TSA/V affects the diffusion
We carried out an experiment last Tuesday to know how the ratio of TSA/V affects the diffusion. We cut the agar – phenolphthalein into different size and put it into a Petri dish then poured some alkaline solution and recorded the percentage portion which has changed. We enjoyed and learned a lot through this experiment.
On 12th of April, our club organised a ‘gotong-royong’. We helped clean the newly built school pavilion because it was really dirty. Besides that, we even helped rewrap the tables there with plastic sheets as most of it are torn. Our president, Lee Ching Ching, divided us into a few groups. The first group is in charge of sweeping the floor. After sweeping, the second group helped mop the floor whereas the third group helped rewrap the tables. Although it was really tiring, however our hard work paid off when we saw that the school pavilion is neat and clean.
