About Us
The Science and Technology Club in Penang Chinese Girls’ High School is open for all students from Form 1 to Form 5. The aim of this society is to inculcate a keener interest in science amongst its members. The club also acts as an arena where members can apply their knowledge of science in practical and even making useful inventions. The society welcomes all students that have passion in science to join us exploring the world of science.
We conduct annual educational trips to places of scientific interest to expand members’ experiences and knowledge of science. We also participate in science fairs, invention competitions and science camps. Activities during normal meetings include teaching of concepts, experiments and watching videos. The club usually meets on Tuesdays, 10:30am to 12pm for afternoon session students, and 1.45pm to 3.15pm for morning session students.
